But I wonder...how did you get down into the canyon to shoot that picture?

As for the canion, it's not very long so it's possible to enter it from the place where it ends. At the other end of the canion is waterfall but it's not easy (and with the level of water as is now impossible) to get there this way.
Anyway, tourists usually don't see this perspective
